The American Cabell Robinson drew this famous course of Amelkis, located at the feet of the High Atlas Mountains, which opened its 18 holes in October 1995. The architect wished to offer to the players a difficult and very technical course. He made a success of his bet by offering a spectacular, undulating and embossed course with hillocks, departures plug, traps in each hole, a course strewn with sublimes obstacles with immense bunkers which defend each green. Each hole is different, with doglegs which curve between the bumps and the 7 lakes judiciously established that can offer nasty surprises. It is a permanent challenge to play on this course. For evidence in 2000, Amelkis welcomed the Open of Morocco. The most difficult hole: the 15, one by 5 with the obligatory crossing a broad water part to arrive on the green.
