Casa Shore was officially launched on December 22, 2005 by His Majesty the King Mohammed VI. With a cost of 1,7 billion DH, this off-shoring zone constitutes an important lever of development of national industry.








Casa Shore, the first off-shoring zone of Morocco, was launched Thursday December 22, in Casablanca by His Majesty the King Mohammed VI. The Sovereign carried out the installation of the first stone of this infrastructure of investments reception. With a total cost of 1, 7 billion dirhams, Casa Shore will allow the creation of 60.000 direct and indirect jobs and the generation of 5 billion dirhams of contribution to the GNP by 2014. This Business Park will be thus dedicated to BPO activities (Business Process Off shoring). It is roughly speaking a question of accommodating externalized services of the large international companies, such their accountancies.

The need for obtaining an off-shoring zone was confirmed after several studies undertaken by the government. 'In a very carrying world market and taking off in Europe, in order to quickly position Morocco on the chart, the government has decided to offer a proposal of a concrete and extremely competitive value to concretize the first operations of reference establishment ', learned by the ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Levelling of the Economy. And to add that the first contacts established within the context of a market-testing allowed the confirmation of the important interest of many prospective customers among the financial institutions of first rank but also of renowned SSII. 'The last weeks were rich with events on this off-shoring market with advertisements of big world operators and their intention to be established in Morocco', explains the same source. These companies were appealed by the encouragements suggested by the government bearing on taxation, the assembly subsidies, etc. Casa Shore will be carried out, within the context of the program 'Emergence', in partnership with the ministry of Industry, Commerce and the Levelling of the Economy together with the wilaya and the town of Casablanca and the CDG through its subsidiary company MHV. Of a total area of 55 ha, the park is localised in a forest at 5 km from Casablanca and 20 km from the international airport Mohammed V. 270.000 m2 will be reserved for built spaces for a total of 30.000 working stations.

The first phase, which will be delivered in 2007, relates to a total built area of 50.000 m2. Several services will be provided on place, in particular 'critical services', such telecommunications and the high flow, general services such restoration, banking services, post office, and the installations of sport in addition to one shopping centre. The last type of services is directly dedicated to the companies. Casa Shore will have its business centre of office assembly, the installation of IT and recruitment council. Thursday at the end of the morning, His Majesty the King also carried out the inauguration of a complex of training to off-shoring and information technologies.

Realized on 12.000 m2 by the OFPPT this complex required a total cost of 47 million dirhams. It has a capacity of reception of 3.000 students of which 700 are already in training.
